Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNPS), the world leader in semiconductor design software, today announced that Sasken, a world-class embedded telecommunications technology solution provider, has used Synopsys' Galaxy™ Design Platform to develop a reference flow to enhance the implementation and signoff process for its complex designs -- accelerating design convergence and delivering a time to market advantage for customers.

Sasken's custom reference flow now includes the following Galaxy technology from Synopsys: Design Compiler® synthesis tool, JupiterXT™ design planning tool, Physical Compiler® physical synthesis tool and Astro™ place and route product for physical implementation, PrimeTime® timing analysis tool, DFT Compiler™ design for test tool, TetraMAX® test product, Star-RCXT™ tool for full-chip parasitic extraction sign-off, and Hercules™ physical verification product.
In addition, Sasken has added Synopsys' NanoSim® simulation tool to its mixed-signal design and verification services, and has adopted Synopsys' HSPICE® circuit simulator tool, CosmosSE™ simulation and analysis solution, and CosmosLE™ intelligent layout automation software for custom IC design products.
